Craig & Maddie Braun make up the Chattanooga, TN based singer songwriter duo, Grey June.

The duo is returning to songwriting after an 8 year hiatus by debuting their first self produced record, "Same Old War", which is set to be released on June 15th, 2023,.

 

The music is simple, melodic and heavily vocal driven. It's the perfect music for the rainy day, the lazy afternoon, the middle of a work day or the afternoon commute. "Our goal is to just release honest music - something people can connect with when they need it", said Craig Braun. The collection of songs that make up the latest record share a raw look inside the journey of a young married couple fighting for what they want. "The story is not always bright and happy, in fact, we wouldn't be where we are today without the dark times we shared together. We're grateful for the hard times and stronger because of it", said Maddie Braun. 

Although the music carries a sense of burden and heavy heartedness, there's a thoughtfully placed bit of light in each of the songs reminding us that no matter what the situation, there's always something to help light the way. You've just got to look for it.
